TYLER REESE TRITT RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE THAT'S TOO 'PERFECT' TO RESIST

[From CountryRebel.com]
Tyler Reese Tritt was only 14 years old when she made her musical debut. Alongside her father, country singer Travis Tritt, Tyler recorded a new rendition of the Patty Smyth and Don Henley duet “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.”
Travis and Tyler’s father-daughter duet was featured on Travis’ 2013 re-release of his album The Storm, which was titled The Calm After… It was released as a single, and as of press time, its accompanying YouTube video has over five million views.
Needless to say, listeners were quite impressed with what they heard from Tyler. That song led to one open door after another for the talented teen, who decided that she wanted to fully dedicate herself to the pursuit of a musical career.
Music means everything to me,” Tyler said. “It’s all I’ve ever known. I’ve chosen to pursue it because I loved the way I felt when I was on stage singing, even at such a young age.
Now 19, Tyler has furthered her musical career through live performances. In 2017, she embarked on tour with Travis, and got the chance to open for him at various concerts and festivals all over the country. As a result of these performances, Tyler’s star is shining as bright as ever.
After such an exciting year on tour with her father, it seemed as though now was the ideal time for Tyler to take the next step in her career…and it’s a big one. Tyler’s debut single is being released today (November 3).
Titled “Perfect,” the song was written by Jesse Owen Astin, Adam Folsom, and Dionne Osborne. It’s a fitting choice for Tyler, as the song tells the story about a young couple who start as friends but eventually become something more.
Tyler had this to say about “Perfect” and what she hopes listeners are able to take away from it:

“My goal for this song is for people to be able to relate. I want everyone to hear it and say, ‘That reminds me of my first love.’ I hope it takes people back to their senior year of high school and reminds them of all those feelings during their last homecoming; the sadness, the awkwardness and the excitement of living in that perfect moment and never wanting it to end. That’s what I hope people will take away from this song.”

You can get your copy of “Perfect” on iTunes by downloading the song here. Or you can find the song on Amazon, Spotify, and other major digital retailers. Also, be sure to check out “Perfect” in the audio clip included below!
If you’d like to keep up with Tyler’s career, be sure to follow her on her social media accounts. You can visit her Facebook page by clicking here and her Instagram by clicking here.

Tritt Concert Sells Out In First Hour

[MARY ALFORD The News-Enterprise]
The second Saturday in February will be a “great day to be alive” for the 650 Travis Tritt fans who were quick enough to buy their tickets to his appearance at the Historic State Theater in downtown Elizabethtown.
City Events Coordinator Sarah Vaughn said tickets for his Feb. 10 concert, which went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, were sold out within the first hour.
“There might have been a few singles left, but basically all sold out that quick,” she said.
Vaughn said there was a short line at the State Theater for ticket purchases, but the majority of sales were completed online. She said there were 159 VIP, or preferred seating, tickets, which were “gone instantly.”
There was a claim VIP tickets were not on sale at 10 a.m. or were all purchased by one person. Vaughn said that was incorrect. She said all tickets were available for purchase at 10 a.m. and, although they do not place a strict limit on the number of tickets sold to one person, she said they would not allow one person to purchase all of them.
“When you only have 650 seats and potentially thousands – just an assumption on my part – trying to purchase at once, they will go in a matter of seconds,” she said.
Vaughn said Friday’s ticket sales were a record for the Historic State Theater.
“This is a record for the fastest sell-out in (State Theater) history,’’ she said. “We were shocked to see how quickly these tickets went and wished we had booked more than one night. We knew E’town would love Travis Tritt, but didn’t expect that.”
Tritt will open the 2018 concert series. The State Theater and city of Elizabethtown partnered for the event, landing the country music star.
Tritt has been a radio and concert favorite with songs including “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive,” “Best Of Intentions,” “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” “Anymore,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E.” He has had five Billboard No. 1 hits.

TYLER REESE TRITT EMERGES ON MUSIC SCENE WITH DEBUT SINGLE, “PERFECT”

SHOWS MUSICAL ROOTS OF TRITT FAMILY TREE

AVAILABLE HERE ON ITUNES

(Nashville, Tenn. – November 3, 2017) – Tyler Reese Tritt, the daughter of Country Music hit maker, Travis Tritt, has emerged on the music scene for the release of her debut single, “Perfect.”  Released today through Post Oak Recordings, the song is now available at all digital retailers and streaming services.
Produced by Jesse Owen Astin and co-written by Astin, Adam Folsom, and Dionne Osborne, “Perfect” is a song about a young couple’s first romance that started as best of friends.
“My goal for this song is for people to be able to relate,” commented Tyler. “I want everyone to hear it and say, ‘that reminds me of my first love.’  I hope it takes people back to their senior year of high school and reminds them of all those feelings during their last homecoming; the sadness, the awkwardness and the excitement of living in that perfect moment and never wanting it to end.  That’s what I hope people will take away from this song.”
Tyler’s first foray into music came in 2012 with a duet with her Dad; a revival of the classic Don Henley and Patty Smyth hit, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.”  Then 14 years of age, Tyler impressed listeners with her beautifully rich voice, proving the musical roots grow deep in the Tritt family tree.  To date, the YouTube video of their duet has received over 5 million views.
Understanding and respecting the rich musical legacy established by her father, Tyler has worked hard over the last couple of years developing her own musical identity and co-writing great songs.  Tyler spent part of her summer opening up for her Dad, entertaining thousands at festivals and venues across the country.
“Music means everything to me.  It’s all I’ve ever known.  I’ve chosen to pursue it because I loved the way I felt when I was on stage singing, even at such a young age.  I love the energy of the crowd and their reactions.  It’s an adrenaline rush for sure!” said Tyler.
Many Travis Tritt fans have enjoyed watching the little girl they saw grow-up onstage with her Dad, now share the spotlight with him.
Tyler will continue touring with her Dad through the end of the year, including on November 4 in Tunica, MS and December 3 in Montgomery, AL. For more details and other confirmed dates, visit

HANNITY, SORBO 'AMAZED AND HUMBLED' AS NEW FILM DEBUTS AT NO. 2

[From WND.com]

‘Let There Be Light’ confirms Americans still ‘crave entertainment that enriches and offers hope’

Maybe it’s because the Harvey Weinstein affair has revealed more clearly, and to more people than ever, that Hollywood is a cesspool of sexual predators and left-wing radicals – and too often, the kind of perverse movie fare sexual predators and left-wing radicals like to produce.
Or, maybe it’s that audiences of real Americans, far removed from the sick culture of Hollywood, are just really hungry for some wholesome, inspiring, redemptive entertainment.
Whatever the reason, “Let There Be Light,” the independent Christian film starring Kevin Sorbo and co-written by wife Sam Sorbo, who also co-stars, ranked No. 2 in per-screen average in movie theatres across the nation during its debut weekend.
The movie was executive produced – that is, funded to the tune of $3 million – by top-rated radio and Fox News host Sean Hannity and was directed by Kevin Sorbo. It garnered $5,071 per screen on some 373 screens Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The only film beating it out was “Jigsaw,” which earned $5,525 per screen, though with a far larger initial distribution of 2,941 screens.
Encouraged by its dazzling debut weekend, the film’s creators expect “Let There Be Light’s”distribution to expand to far more theaters this week.
“We are amazed and humbled by the response,” said Kevin Sorbo, who stars in and directed the film and who earned fame first as Hercules, then more recently as star of the hugely successful low-budget, independent Christian film, “God’s Not Dead.”
The new project was written by Dan Gordon, of “Hurricane” fame, and Sam Sorbo, who also stars, and two of the Sorbos’ teenage children also appear in their debut acting roles. The film also features Hannity, playing himself, as well as music stars Dionne Warwick and Travis Tritt.
“This is about a deep hunger on the part of the forgotten American people. They still crave entertainment that enriches and offers hope, and are tired of Hollywood’s typically negative, violence-glorifying, and sexually graphic fare,” Kevin Sorbo said. “The supportive and grateful outpouring of emotion from those on social media is overwhelming. This movie has brought people back to the theater, who haven’t been in 20 years, we are told. We can’t wait to see what happens in week 2.”
“America has spoken,” added Harmon Kaslow, chief of Atlas Distribution, which distributed the film. “Theaters are calling for the film, and we look forward to expanding in week 2 and beyond.”
George Escobar, vice president of WND Films and co-writer and co-director of the Academy Award-nominated Christian film “Alone Yet Not Alone,” confirms there’s a big change in the winds.
“The timing for movies made by filmmakers who are boldly Christian couldn’t be better,” he said. “With the spotlight on Hollywood’s past and ongoing allegations of sexual harassment, it’s important to give audiences movies that are edifying and uplifting for families.”
He added, “Christian filmmakers are working extremely hard to perfect our craft, to be more and more competitive in our storytelling abilities. If 10,000 hours is required to achieve mastery in a discipline, as ‘Tipping Point’ author Malcolm Gladwell claims, then it’s only a matter of time before excellent screenwriters will emerge from within the Christian ranks.”
“Let There Be Light” unfolds the story of Dr. Sol Harkens, a celebrity atheist who makes his living publicly attacking Christianity.
“He is not only anxious to share his disdain for God, but he also finds great joy and satisfaction in attacking his Christian opponents on the stage,” the movie’s synopsis explains.
All that profoundly changes when Harkens suffers a serious car crash that leaves him clinically dead for four minutes.
The movie has the approval of The Dove Foundation, a seal of approval from the Parents Television Council, was winner of the Best Picture at the Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival and is being praised by prominent Christian voices:
“What a powerful movie! An emotional roller coaster ride with one of the most compelling presentations of the Gospel that I have seen on film. Definitely a must-see.” – Rev. Franklin Graham
“An emotionally powerful, insightful, inspiring drama.” – Dr. Ted Baehr, Movieguide
“In a world where so many people are suffering, movies like this are the encouragement that we all need to face difficult times with strength, offering forgiveness and hope when it’s needed most.” – Jerry Falwell Jr.
On their Facebook page, the film’s creators said Monday, “Well, it was an absolutely amazing opening weekend and the Lord has certainly blessed ‘Let There Be Light.’ We had the second highest per screen average in the country, second only to JIGSAW! There were sold out screens all across America and we are happy to announce that we are adding HUNDREDS of new screens for this coming weekend. Stay tuned for details! Thank you all again for your support, and keep sharing the light!”
